born to Frank and Anna (Palensky) Ostry She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph, Ivan, Emil, Cyril and Leonard; and sister, Sr. Mildred (Anna) Ostry ND. She is survived by a sister, Sr. Agnes Marie Ostry, ND of Omaha; nephews, Joe Ostry of Scottsbluff, Larry Ostry of Seattle, Wash., Arthur Ostry of Chicago, Ill.; nieces, Sr. Marie Alice Ostry, ND of Omaha, Sr. Rita Ostry, ND of Porcupine, S.D.; great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-nephews. Lillian grew up on a farm northwest of Prague where she lived her entire life except for the last few years, when she lived in Wahoo. She attended Prague Elementary School and one year of high school. She took care of all the household duties, including raising a large garden and canning. She was the last person to raise ducks for the annual St. John's Duck Dinner. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society of which she was a group leader.
