Loman Dee Hammit, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at his home in The Woodlands. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Arlington Funeral Home. He was a former longtime resident of the Fort Worth area and a former member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Dee was born in Stephenville on Dec. 20, 1927. He served in World War II in the United States Navy and later worked at the Richland Hills post office. Dee was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Sue Hammit. Survivors: Wife, Hannah Marie Shelton Hammit; daughter, Janice Elaine Kindlinger; stepson, Terry Martinaz; grandsons, Trey, Brandon and Lucas Kindlinger and Gary Martinaz; great-granddaughters, Adelle Sue and Madaline Elaine Kindlinger; and great-grandson, Esau Michael Kindlinger.
