OBITUARY : MRS. CAROLINE (NICHOLS) FLAUGHER died Sunday morning at the home of her son, Harry Flaugher, Cascade, Md. She was aged 86 years. The deceased was a lifelong member of the Church of God and was well known in the vicinity where she resided. She is survived by the following children: Harry and Charles, Cascade, Md.; John, Highfield; William, who resides in the south; Mrs. Lilian Masters, Smithsburg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, leaving the house at 1:30 o'clock for the Bethel church where services will be conducted by Rev. Samuel Kipe. The family of the deceased desire it announced that the 1 o'clock C.G. and W. street car from Waynesboro will go direct to that vicinity and friends and relatives of the deceased are invited to attend without further notice. Samuel Flaughler, married Carrie Blanche Birely, and removed to the state of Washington. (8.) Mary C. Flaughter, died young.
