Bio

Charlotte L Argyle, 73, Clifton, died Jan 17 2004 in San Diego California. Services were at 2pm on a Sat at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2948 US HWY 50. Charlotte was American Blackfoot Indian and spent 45 years in the restaurant business. Informant was her daughter Paula J Maness from Jamul, CA. Her father was Orville K Linderman of Idaho and her mother was Ella Salome Spurlock of Missouri. She was a resident of Rio Blanco County for more than 40 years of her life. She graduated from Meeker, CO. She is preceded in death by her husband Dan L Argyle, Orville , "Toby" Orton (previous husband) and Michael A Orton (Son). She was a loving caring woman and lived her life to the fullest. Place of death was Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, CA where she spent 5 days before her passing. Survivors include her 3 sons, Gary Orton, Robert Orton, and David Reddin. 4 daughters, Linda Carter, Kathryn Cleveringa, and Christine Nutter, and Paula Maness. One brother Buddy Linderman, one sister Denna Linderman and 11 great grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was a resident of Rio Blanco County for more than 40 years. She died in San Diego, California from emphysema (respiratory failure from severe COPD). Memorial contributions were to the American Heart Association. Death 17 January 2004 • La Mesa, San Diego County, California, United States of America Services were at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
