Services Held For Mrs. Carrie Vlcan Carrie Masek Vlcan was born January 28, 1880, at Weston, Nebr., to Mr. & Mrs. John M. Masek. She passed away at the Good Samaritan Rest Home in Bloomfield, Nebr., June 7, 1965, at the age of 85. She was married to Frank Vlcan, Jan. 28, 1902 Nine children were born to the couple. Mrs. Adolph (Rose) Stoural, Creighton; Vencil, Lincoln; Charles, Lincoln; Frank, Monowi; Emil, California; Mrs. Bert (Mildred) Baines, Omaha; Mrs. Hubert (Helen) McGreevy, Colorado are living. There are 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren . One sister, Mrs. Mary Vlcan, Monowi, also survives. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, 2 sons, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. The funeral was held at St. Ludger Church, Creighton, with Father P. Schneider in charge. Interment was at Lynch Catholic Cemetery; services by Father J. Bartek.
