Funeral services for Rose Stoural, 99, of Creighton will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. Father Keith Rezac will officiate the 10:30 a.m. service with burial in St. Ludger Cemetery in Creighton. Rose Mary Stoural, daughter of Frank A. and Carrie (Masek) Vlcan, was born March 17, 1904 at Monowi. She attended Monowi and Lynch Public Schools. She was married to Adolph A. Stoural on November 13, 1928 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Two children were born to them, Beata and James. The couple lived in Verdigre and Creighton. Rose was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church and its altar society. Rose passed away on June 21, 2003 at the Creighton Care Centre at the age of 99. Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Beata and Henery Wilmes of Creighton and son and his wife, James and Judy Stoural of Escondido, CA; eight grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two sisters, Mildred Baines of Omaha and Helen McGreery of Malibu, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband and six brothers. ...The Creighton News 21 May 2003
