Services for Ruby Marie Scott, 70, Wills Point were held Tuesday at Hershel LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with the Rev. George Conn Officiation. Burial was in Ellis Chapel Cemetery just outside Wills Point. Scott died Saturday in Mesquite. She was born Dec. 10, 1924, in Van Zandt County to Oliva S. and Melissa Woods Gaston. She was preceded in death by her first husband Andrew Jackson Huddleston in 1986, and a son, Albert Henry Huddleston in 1969. Survivors include her husband Bruce Scott Sr., Wills Point: 7 sons; A.T. Huddleston & Bruce Scott Jr both of Terrell, James Andrew Huddleston, Henderson, Billy Wayne & Eugene Huddleston both of Wills Point, Oliver Lynn Huddleston, Leuders, and Matthew Leonard Scott, Edgewood; 2 daughters, Kathrine Marie Wilson, Seven Points, and Carol Sue Faling, Wills Point; 1 brother, George Allen Gaston, Seven Points; one sister, Mary Ann Craver; and 17 gr-grandchildren.
