WILLS POINT - Services for George Allen Gaston, 84, Wills Point, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home chapel, Wills Point. Burial will be in Ellis Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Gaston died Sept. 19, 2006, in Wills Point. He was born April 25, 1922, in Wills Point to the late Oliver Sydney and Melissa Woods Gaston. He lived most of his life in the Wills Point area, and was a farmhand for Thurman Miles, the Calloway Brothers, DeWitt Deen and others. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Caldwell Gaston, on April 15, 2000, and his siblings. Survivors include eight nephews, five nieces, and other relatives. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Published in the Tyler Morning Telegraph on 9/20/2006.
