Edith Zeltner Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Edith Mae Zeltner, 77, formerly of this area, at the Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, Ill. Burial was in Highbridge Cemetery. Memorials to the Canton Nursing Center activities department in Canton, Ill., are suggested. Mrs. Zeltner died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday at the nursing center. Born October 9, 1905, in Winfred, S.D. to William S. and Odessa M. Duncan Hendren, she married Ernest C. Zeltner April 9, 1924 in Huntsville. He died August 13, 1971. Surviving are her father, W. S. Hendren, of Moberly; two sons, one daughter, 11 grandchildren; five step- grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one step-great-great grandchild; and five brothers, Raymond, William C., (Two brothers Private) all of Moberly, and Otis Hendren of Osceola. Her mother, one daughter, two grandchildren and one sister preceded her in death. Jock Parks Scrapbook
