Archer County, Texas Cemeteries Archer Cemetery Last Rites for Cranford Key, 46, Held Wednesday Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 from the First Baptist church in Archer City for Cranford Key, who died Sunday afternoon in the Ball clinic at Excelsior Springs, Mo., where he had been under treatment for the past 3 weeks. He had been in ill health for the past 3 or 4 months. Key, 46 years of age, was a native Texan, born in Runnels county. He had been a resident of Archer City for 26 years and was a familiar figure on the streets here Last rites, in the presence of a large gathering of friends and neighbors, were conducted by Earl Allen, pastor. Interment was in the Archer City cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack Meredith, J.D. Powell, Pat Wilmut, W.O. Davis, Elmer Wilhite, L.B. Baker, Ben Moore, and J.B. Cross. Survivors are seven sisters, Misses Hattie and Nettie Key, Mrs. W.R. Smith, Mrs. Joe W. Adams, all of Archer City; Mrs. J.A. Gholson of Buckeye, Arizona; Mrs. Nora Breshears of Fort Worth; Mrs. C.D.
