Bio

Mrs. Julia Nadine Ruck Travis, 46, Macon, died at 6 a.m. today in St. Mary's hospital where she had beena paient three weeks. Mrs. Travis lived in Decatur 35 years before moving to Macon two years ago. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church and the auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. She was born July 19, 1903, in Tama, Iowa, and was married to Walter R. Travis in Springfield in 1926. She leaves her husband; two sons, J.D. Travis and Charles Allen Travis off Macon; to daughters, Mrs. Harold Teschner of Decatur and Mrs. Herbert Nichols of Gardner, Iowa; mother, Mrs. Anna L. Ruck of Macon. Her father, Charles J. Ruck, died in 1928 and a sister preceded her in death. Review Tues Sept 27, 1949
