Bio
Ruby Roach Clark, age 89, of Payson, died February 22, 2006, at the Mountain View Hospital in Payson. She was born April 12, 1916 in Burley, Idaho to William Walter and Jennie Fox Roach. In her early years, Ruby lived in Burley, Idaho, and Midvale, Utah. She received training as a dental assistant, and worked for Dr. Harold Nelson from 1941 to 1961, and then in 1961, she initiated the dental assisting training program at the Utah Technical College. She loved fine china, and worked for Norma's China Closet and for ZCMI in the china department. She married James Sylvester Clark on August 23, 1963 in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. In 1965 she moved to Payson, where her husband had a fruit orchard, and they raised Lemon Elberta Peaches. She was a member of the LDS Church, and worked at the Provo Temple from 1983 to 1993. She also served in relief society and Sunday school. Published in Salt Lake Tribune Feb. 26, 2006
