Published in the Lexington Progress, Lexington, TN, January 14, 2009 Services for Liddie Mae Adams were Saturday at Parsons Mortuary. Interment followed in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Adams, age 91, died January 8, 2009, at the Quince Nursing Home in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Adams; one brother, Precely Birdwell; four sisters, Beulah Birdwell, Beatrice Douglas, Dessie Carey and Verla Ellington. Survivors include one son, Robert Adams of Memphis; brother, Ray Birdwell, Yuma; one sister, Lucretia Duffton, SC; and two grandchildren.
