Bio

Son of John and Gladyce (Jakub) Faltys, Jr. He graduated from Howells High School in 1964. He married Lyra Wurdeman, Sept. 23, 1965, at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells. Francis was a retired farmer and Colfax County maintainer driver. Francis is survived by his wife, Lyra, of Howells; four children, Mike (Kim) Faltys, of Howells, Gary Faltys, (and his fiancee, Renee Risley), of Omaha, Cindy (Mrs. Todd) Heavican, of Columbus, and John (Nicki) Faltys, of Columbus; nine grandchildren, Ben, Brandon, Jeffrey, Andrew, Tyler, Drew and Jesse Faltys, Tayla and Cailey Heavican; sister, Rosemary (Mrs. Wayne) Bos, of Norfolk; brother-in-law, Dick (Jacque) Stouffer, of Cody, Wyo.; mother-in-law, Rosa Wurdeman, of Creston; and sister-in-law, Lianne (Mrs. Marvin) Charipar, of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Allen; sister, Kathy Stouffer; and infant twin brothers, John and James.
