Bio

Claud Conrad Mobley, son of Edward Glover and Nannie L. Wilkinson/Miller Mobley, was born 23 October 1886. He married Nannie Mae Golden, daughter of Seborn and Anner Elizabeth (Hendricks) Golden on 6 January 1907 in Bosque County Texas. Claude suffered Typhoid Fever and apparently also had "Dropsy", a liver disease, and died 10 June 1918 by his own hand in Bosque County, Texas. Nannie Mae and their daughters later moved in with Artis Otto Patterson and Elizabeth Gertrude "Trudie" Mobley and cared for Trudie who was dying of cancer, until her death on 4 August 1933. Trudie was Claud Mobley's sister. After Trudie's death, Nannie Mae married Artis Patterson. Artis died on 7 August 1943 in Bosque Co. TX and is buried next to Trudie and Claud in the Meridian Cemetery. Nannie Mae remarried a third time on July 1944 to Isaac Russel Smith. Isaac was born 15 January 1893 in Lebanon, Collin Co., TX and died 3 February 1958 in Dallas Co., TX. Nannie passed away on 2 May 1977 in Lewisville, Denton Co., TX and was buried next to Isaac Smith in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Dallas County TX. On His WWI Draft card, he listed his Place of birth as Red Top, Texas Marriage License Posting: C. C. Mobley to Miss May Golden The Clifton Record, Jan 11, 1907
