*********************************************************** According to the Limestone County History, Vol I, Edward Glover Mobley Sr was was buried at the Horn Hill Cemetery in Limestone county. I never found any proof that this is correct, but it could be true. Recently, however, we found an Ed Mobley (no dates) on a marker photo at Duck Creek Cemetery [Find A Grave Memorial# 50629950]. Since we can locate EG. Jr. at the Sterling White Cemetery [Find A Grave Memorial# 92732701] and EG III at the Llano Cemetery [Find a Grave 17968739], Im wondering if this isn't our EG Sr. His son's (EG JR's) wife, Minnie, is buried here as well. [Find A Grave Memorial# 31480288]. It is possible that E. G. Mobley Sr was living with them at the time of his death but I am still researching this. Any ideas ???? *************************************************** Edward Glover Mobley Sr. was born in July of 1836 in South Carolona, the son of James Biggers Mobley, Sr. & Elizabeth (Glover) Mobley. He married Isla A. Graham on May 10, 1860 in Mecklenburg Co., NC. They had 9 children together. Isla died before 1885 in Grimes County, Texas and Edward remarried to a widow, Nannie L. (Miller) Wilkinson on Oct 14, 1885 in Walker Co., TX. They had three children. Edward Died about 1902. I was told that he is buired in an unmarked grave at Horn Hill Cemetery in Limestone County Texas but currently have no real proof of this.
