Bio

Leona was the oldest of fourteen children, all born and raised on the family farm in Cooke County. Frank was also the oldest of fourteen children. They met at a dance in Lindsay in 1932 and married on Nov. 26, 1934. After raising her three children Leona became a hairdresser in 1958. She continued doing hair until her death in 1983.
