Bio

Wellington Leader October 22, 1992 Willis Wood, 81, died Saturday, October 10, 1992 Mr. Wood was born in Glen Rose. He was a former resident of Wellington, farming in the Rolla community for several years. He and his family moved to Muleshoe from Wellington in 1964. He was a farmer and a member of Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dale Wood of Monahans; Lonnie Wood for Fort Sumner, NM and Larry Wood of Temple; two daughters, Carolyn Willhoite of Yuma, AZ and Virginia Redd of Amarillo; a brother, Cecil Wood of Clarendon; a sister, Clothilde Milligan of Muleshoe; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
