Bio

Mrs. Wilmer R. (Ora Pearl) Bailey, 73, of 718 W. Division St., died at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mrs. Bailey was born in Niantic, a daughter of LeRoy and Mabel Tilley Waddell. She was a life-long Decatur resident and was a member of the Church of Christ. She married Wilmer R. Bailey Sr. on Feb. 5, 1921 in Decatur. Mrs. Bailey leaves her husband; sons, Ray and Roger, both of Decatur; daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Elvera) Wyne of Decatur; brother, Harold Waddell of Littleton, Colo.; sisters, Alta Waddell of Decatur; Mrs. Mel (Nina) Rasmussen of Oak Park: seven grandchildren.
