Bio
Ruth B. Carrigan, 92, of Crockett, formerly of Centerville, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 26, at the funeral home, with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 8 pm. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy B. Carrigan Sr.; three brothers, Jim Pitt Batson, Lee Ross Batson and infant, Elmo Batson and a nephew, Ross Dean Batson. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roy B. Carrigan Jr. and Sharon of Franklin; two daughters, Anita Carrigan of Centerville and Mary Carrigan of Port Lavaca; a brother, Joe Oren Batson of Bryan and a sister, Doris Gast of Clifton, Texas.
