Charles L. "Cad" Moore, 86, passed away Monday night at Van Buren Memorial hospital in Keosauqua where he had been a patient for five days. Moore was a long-time resident of Birmingham. He was a patient in the Moore Nursing Home in Stockport before entering the hospital. The body is at the Burch Funeral Home. Arrangements are pending. Moore was born 11 Sep 1878, the son of Charles West and Nancy Kisling Moore. He was married to Martha Hootman who preceded him in death on 23 Nov 1956. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Pence, Burlington and Mrs. Mary Poplett, Dunlap, Illinois. Two grandchildren and three brothers & two sisters, Tom Moore, Stockport, Floyd Moore, Birmingham and George Moore, Eldon, Mabel Huffman, Packwood and Alberta Baird of Torrington, Wyoming also survive. Proceeding him in death were his parents and Mary Jane Ratcliffe, Ft. Collins, Colo;
