Bio

Funeral services for Mary Modena Weeks, 86, of DeRidder, La. will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005 at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder. Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday. She died Sunday, Nov. 13, at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Word" Weeks. Survivors include her son Jimmy Weeks and his wife Myrtle Lee of DeRidder, four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
