Bio
Jimmy Weeks, 73, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, September 19, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was the owner of Weeks Construction. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years; son and daughter-in-law; three daughters and one son-in-law all of DeRidder, LA.; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Word Weeks and Mary Modena Weeks. Funeral services were Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial followed at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder. Bro. Tom Stucke officiated. Donations may be made in Jimmy Weeks name to the American Cancer Society. Services were under Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
