Bio

Ida Lorene Farmer of Terrell passed away February 13, 2002 in Terrell, Texas. She was born October 29, 1914, to the late John and Mae Hitt Lowrie in Camp Ground (Hunt County). Lorene attended school in Poetry. She was a faithful member of the Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church and later the First United Methodist Church of Terrell. As a young woman she taught the children's Sunday School (Card Class) for many years. All children loved her and called her "Aunt Lorene." She was married to the late Herman Farmer. To this union three children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Eddie Farmer and Morgan Farmer, and granddaughter, Judy Roberts.
