Bio

Jennie B. Arnold, 95, Mt. Washington (formerly of Russell County), died Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late William and Leonna Eads Blair and the widow of James Waldon Arnold. She is survived by one son, Blair (Jo Ann) Smith, Mt. Washington; one grandchild, Jennifer Holgen, Belgium; three great grandchildren, Blair Morgan Hoglen, Jenna Marie Hoglen and Anika Lee Hoglen. She was preceded in death by one sister, Gertrude Mitchell; and two brothers, Fayette and Oscar Blair. Mrs. Arnold was a a homemaker and a member of the Kings Baptist Church in Taylorsville. Funeral services were held Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cleveland Johnson officiating. Burial was in the McBeath Cemetery. Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
