Bio

John William Gathings married Helen Hannah Brannon on 14 March 1987 at Graham, Texas. John William Gathings, 65, came to Graham in the early 1900s from Elbert, Texas. He was a member of the Baptist Church and Good Fellow organization. He served 18 years in the US Army. Survived by his wife; one son - William C. Gathings; two daughters - Brenda McClendon and Linda Hall; three brothers - Richard Gathings, Jodyie Gathings, Virgil Gathings; three sisters - Lilly Jones, Lucille Timmons, Frances Buquet; 10 grandchildren.
