Walter Green Edna – Funeral services for Walter Green, 78, of Edna will be held at 10 a. m. Monday from the Jackson County Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Webb officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens under the direction of the Jackson County Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy, Douglas, Roy Dave, and Robert Curlee, Elmer Chase and Luther Hamilton. Mr. Green was born April 10, 1896, in Gonzales County. He was a veteran of World War I and a retired employee of the United Gas Co. He died Saturday in an Edna hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vera Curlee Green of Edna; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde McDonald of Edna; a brother, Taylor Green of Madisonville; and four grandchildren. Victoria Advocate , January 26, 1975
