Bio

Ida M. Sulkowski Ida M. Sulkowski of Walled Lake died Aug. 17 at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills. She was 84. Mrs. Sulkowski was born Sept. 26, 1903 in Novi, the daughter of Charles and Hattie Bell (Smith) Blake. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Surviving are her children, Henry Sulkowskl of Walled Lake; Betty Contreras of California; Ruth Collins of Southgate; Dorothy Cook of Toledo; Annabelle Runstrom of Salem; Sam Sulkowski of Bad Axe. Wilma Sanders of Maine; Jeanette Sebring of Coldwater; Charles Sulkowski of Walled Lake; Arthur Sulkowsk1 of Detroit; Martha Boettcher of California. Also surviving are 43 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Inez Crumb and Anne Ingall, both of Plymouth. Mrs. Sulkowski was preceded in death by one daughter and one son. Funeral services were held Aug. 19 from the Casterline Funeral Home in Northville with Pastor Stephen Sparks of the First Baptist Church of Northville officiating.
