JAMES S. WILLIAMS, BAPTIST MINISTER, IS BURIED MONDAY Funeral services for James Sampson Williams, aged 67 years, Baptist Minister, who died at the family residence, 410 East Twelfth Avenue, Sunday morning at 4 o'clock, were held Monday afternoon from the Emmett Baptist church. Interment was made in the Emmett Cemetery. The rites were conducted by Rev. Clyde Griffin, pastor of the Calvery Baptist Church. Rev. Mr. Williams was a native of Arkansas, but had resided in Navarro County for the past 60 years. He lived in the Emmett community for many years, but had resided here for some time. Survivers are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. I.C. Pool, Corsicana; two sons, Judson Williams, Corsicana, and Harvey Williams, Kerens; a sister, Mrs. Mollie, Green, Emmett and a number of other relatives. Pallbearers were I.C. Pool, J.D. Skinner, Clyde Ellington, Spurgeon Williams, Henry Williams, and Reno Williams.
