Danny R. "Bull" Mynarcik, 59, of Ross, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010, near West. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Danny was born in West, Texas, the son of the late Willie "Bill" and Wilma (Kramr) Mynarcik. He attended Ross School and graduated from West High School in 1969. He was united in marriage to Cindy Mandel on Sept. 10, 1977, in Tours. Danny worked as a high lift operator for Owens-Illinois Brockway Glass Plant in Waco for the last 41 years. He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, gardening, gambling trips to Louisiana and Oklahoma, and going to cattle sales. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and going roping with his children. Danny was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. He was also a member of the West Fair and Rodeo Association, where he was a former director, a past director of Ross Water Supply, R.V.O.S. Lodge in Tours, and the K.J.T. Society #31. Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Cindy, of Ross; daughter, Melanie Churchill and husband, Damon, of Ross; son, Chad Mynarcik and wife, Lyndsey, of Axtell; his parents-in-law, Harvey and Sarah Mandel, of Ross; brothers, Robert Mynarcik and wife, Carol, and Jerry Mynarcik and wife, Christine, all of West; sister-in-law, Lisa Miller and husband, Phillip, of Ross; grandchildren, Kaycee Gail Churchill and Luke Austin Mynarcik; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
