Bio
Willie (Bill) Mynarcik, age 83 of West, died Tuesday afternoon March 17, 1998 at West Rest Haven. A rosary will be recited Thursday (today) at 7:30 p.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, by Rev. Ed Karasek. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Marys Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery near West. Mr. Mynarcik was born on December 24, 1914 near West, the son of Joseph and Otillie Mynarcik. He married Wilma Kramr on October 18, 1939 in West. She preceded him in death on April 28, 1981. He then married Norene Moore Wachsmann on July 11, 1992 in West. He farmed most of his life and worked as a laborer doing construction work and glazing windows. He worked for Young Brothers Co. in Waco for 10 or more years and also for Cameron Mills Co. in Waco for 10 years until he retired in 1976. He was a member of K.J.T. Society No. 31 in West and a lifetime member of St. Marys Catholic Church of the Assumption. He is preceded in death by a sister, Victor Cvikel.
