Bio

William Mitchell was the father of Sophia Jane Mitchell who married Benjamin Hale. After the death of her parents Sophia, Benjamin and family left Tennessee. They first went to Macon Co., Illinois, and then went to Ks. Son Granville and daughter Mary stayed in Macon Co., Illinois.
