Bio

Bertha Edith Wood, age 79, went to her heavenly home for her reunion with other family members. She was born to Jules Edward and Edna Vitura Clepper McKissick. Bertha married Howard Buford Wood on January 17, 1933 in Bosque County. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Howard Barry Wood; grandsons, Joshua Lowery and Derrick Wood. Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband of 61 years, Howard Buford Wood; children, Frank E. Wood, Wanda Guillory, Netta Martin, Maggie Larsen, Linda Daniel and Pamela Lowery.
