Audra was the daughter of George Washington and Annie Ida Bedford Garrett. She married Dr. Cecil Forrest Jorns. Their children were Ida "Joan" Atkins, Janet Rose DeShong, Audra "Jane" VanSanten, and Cecil Forrest "Jay" Jorns, Jr.
