SHELDON, Iowa -- Gerrit R. "Gary" Boogerd, 82, of Sheldon died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in Sheldon. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Reformed Church in Sheldon. Graveside services will be 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock, Iowa, with military rites conducted by the American Legion Buss Johnson Post 316 of Little Rock. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon.
