Masek, 84, of Touhy died Thursday, April 1, 2010, in Lincoln. He was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Weston to William and Mary (Houska) Masek. He attended grade school in Weston before graduating from Weston High School. He married Maxine Jambor on June 20, 1950, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague. After their marriage, they made their home in the Touhy area. He was a longtime buyer and seller of cattle. He was a member of St. Vitus Catholic Church in Touhy. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Collette and Gary Evert of Lincoln and Renee Conneally of Northville, Mich.; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Masek and Roxanne Durbin of Lincoln and Paul and Kim Masek of Malcolm; 10 grandchildren, four sisters and a brother. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, a son-in-law and a grandson. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vitus Catholic Church in Touhy. Visitation with the family will be after 6 p.m. Monday at the church with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
