Bio

Thomas F. Shaver was killed in a coal mine explosion in Rhea County, TN. He was the son of Mary Mathis Shaver, first wife of Samuel Lafayette Shaver. It is not known where Mary Mathis Shaver is buried to link her to this child. She possibly is buried in the same cemetery as there are many unmarked graves here.
