Bio
Mrs. Margaret Wobbe, age 83, of Pledger died Friday, March 26, 2010 in Richmond, TX following an extended illness. Friends may call for visitation starting at 6:00 pm Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the chapel of the Wharton Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Wharton and burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Mrs. Wobbe was the owner of Wobbe's in Pledger for over thirty years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Alvin Wobbe in 2005. Survivors include her sons, Bernie Wobbe and wife Louise of Richmond, TX and Lloyd Wobbe of Pledger; sister, Shirley Wright of Baytown, TX; five grandchildren and several nieces and a nephew
