Bio

Timothy Joseph Zurovetz, a disabled Forest Hill Police Department officer, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a rosary to begin at 6 p.m. Tim was born April 6, 1956, to Daniel Henry and Ann Janicek Zurovetz. A lifelong native of Fort Worth, he graduated from Paschal High School in 1974. After training with the Fort Worth Police Academy, he became a Tarrant County deputy sheriff and later a Forest Hill police officer. He was injured in the line of duty in 1981. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Zurovetz. Survivors: Daughter, Britney Zurovetz; mother, Ann Zurovetz; and friend, Pat Acker. Published in Star-Telegram on March 26, 2010
