Dixie W. Anderson, 77, of Marietta, Oklahoma, formerly of Argyle, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Marietta.She was born November 21, 1932 in Krum to Walter Wayne and Zelma (Lambert) Good.She was married to Joseph W. Anderson on May 29, 1953 in Fort Worth.She is a retired Public School Teacher from the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, Oklahoma. A graveside funeral service will be held at Graham-Argyle Cemetery in Argyle, TX on Friday, March 25, 2010 at 11 am, withRev. Bill Pritchett and Rev. Ronnie Harris, officiating. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX for Visitation on Thursday, March 24, 2010 from 6-8 pm.Memorials may be made to the American Diabetic Assoc.P.O. Box 11454, Alexandra, VA 22312. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Joseph W. Anderson, of Marietta, OK, daughter, Lynda Tankersley,of Arlington, TX, sons,Bruce Anderson of Lowell, AR and Joe Bob Anderson of Marietta, OK,a Sister, Anjanelle Risley of Argyle, TX, and four Grandchildren.
