Joseph Robert Anderson, affectionately known as "Uncle Bo" to his many nieces and nephews, passed away at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill, OK on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of 61. Joseph began this life on September 14, 1959 in Denton, TX when he was born to Joseph Weldon Anderson and Dixie Wayne Good-Anderson. He grew up in the North Texas area where attended schools. Joseph had a knack for fixing things and a love for automobiles. That complimentary combination led him to his career as an auto mechanic. He proudly operated Anderson Paint and Body for more than 20 years. Joseph never had any children of his own, but he had numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews that he greatly cherished. They say he always had a story to tell and he was always the life of the party. He was so much fun to be around...he was the "Ultimate Uncle". Those left to cherish his memory are one brother, Bruce Anderson and his wife Ann; one sister, Lynda Tankersley and husband Rick; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. A celebration of Joseph's life will be held at a later date. The family asks that those who wish to honor his memory by making a memorial contribution, please remember Cross Timbers Hospice.
