OBITUARY BESSIE SHAVER Mrs. Bessie Schild Shaver, 81, of Dayton, widow of Dewey Shaver, died Friday, Sept 10, [1982] in Rhea County Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Anna S. Ellis, Spring City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept 12 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Pat Ellis officiating. Interment was in Buttram Cemetery. Sawyers Funeral Service in charge of arrangements. THE HERALD NEWS, Thursday, September 16, 1982 Bessie Pauline Schild Shaver and her husband Dewey M., owned the Ben Franklin Store in Dayton for many years. She was a sister to Bertha Agnes Schild Shaver, wife of Dewey's brother, Wallace, and their father was M. Schild who owned the Ice Plant in Dayton.
