Vanyard Davis age 83 of Channelview, Texas, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010. He was born in Cleveland "Tarkington Prairie", Texas on February 13, 1927 to James Oscar Davis and Willie Mae Davis who preceded him in death along with his sister: Addie Bumgardner. Survivors include his three daughters: Wanda Davis Patterson and husband, Vick, Rita Reynolds and husband, Perry, Deborah Davis Jerrett and husband, Keith; sister: Lillian Shipman; grandchildren, Wes Reynolds and wife, Hannah, Kristi Tidwell, Angie Thompson and husband, Joseph, Julie Gaetani and husband, Jeremiah, Kyle Reynolds, Jared Reynolds, and Ryan Reynolds; eight great-grandchildren; numerous other loving and caring family members and a host of treasured friends throughout the years. Wes Reynolds presided over funeral services held Saturday, March 20, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. A graveside service was held with Military Honors at Magnolia Cemetery, Onalaska, Texas.
