Services Held Saturday For J.T. Pearson Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Murphy Memorial Chapel for James Truman Pearson with Rev. Paul Hancock, officiating. Burial was in Rowe Cemetery, Hedley, with the Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Pearson, 56, died Friday in a Childress hospital. He was a ranch hand and had worked the past six months on the Crews ranch near Childress. He was a native of Hedley and had been a long time resident of Donley County. He was a member of the Claude American Legion. Survivors include his father, John T. Pearson of Clarendon; two sisters, Mrs. Arlie Wood of Colorado and Mrs. Kattie Underhill of Uniontown, Ind.; five brothers, Dave of Levelland, John and Ed, both of Lamesa, Carl of Elida, N.M., and Alva of Littlefield. Nephews of Mr. Pearson served as pallbearers.
