Bio

Dorothy Amelia Dunston, 88, was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Burns,WY and had lived here since 1929. Dorothy had been a secretary for the Wyoming State Auditor's Office and retired May 30, 1987, after 28 years of service. Prior to the auditor's office she worked as a bookkeeper for Sam Stark and Sons. After retirement, she worked for the Wyoming State Senate during the Legislative years of 1988 through 2006. Dorothy was a member of Zion Congregational Church, State Employee's Retired Group, Airport Golf Club and was active in two bridge clubs. She is survived by a daughter, Patti Watne of Banning, Calif.; two grandsons, Kevin (Anne) Watne of Los Angeles, and Marshall (Penny) Watne of Costa Rica; seven great-grandchildren; special caregiver, GiGi Amelia Lemaster of Los Angeles; numerous nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin W. Dunston on Oct. 11, 2006; her parents, Orville and Carrie Lemaster; three brothers, Albert, Orville and Ralph; and three sisters, Osa, Ruth and Hazel.
