Bio

George W. Arbogast, died suddenly in his home in Colorado. He was a son of the late Lemuel Arbogast and was born in Pendleton County, W.Va., January 2, 1853, died October 16, 1929. Aged 75 years, 9 months and days. On March 25, 1874, he was united in marriage to Sidney E. Teter, and to this union seven children were born, all of whom survive him. Three sons and four daughters, and all living in the west. In early life he and his wife went West and never came back. He leaves to mourn his departure, besides his wife and children, a sister, and five brothers as follows; Mrs. Jonas Wimer, of Zigler, William Arbogast, of Roaring, Lemuel Arbogast Jr., of Bowden, James Arbogast of Beverly, Jacob Arbogast of Glady, and Alfred Arbogast of Circleville. He was a member of a family of thirteen children, six of whom preceded him to the great beyond a number of years ago.
