Bio

Ruby W. Mathews, 89, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Hobart, OK, died Wednesday, March 6, 1996, at South Park Nursing Home in Oklahoma City. Bright-Holland Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 9 at Evergreen cemetery with Haskell England officiating. Mrs. Mathews was born June 17, 1906, in Paris, a daughter of Will and Ellen McClellan. She married Bill (William Coy) Mathews in 1924. He died January 13, 1990. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ in Hobart. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, R. Christine Mathews in 1926.
