Bio
EUGENE JOHN BROM, 77, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2004. His parents, Christian and Vlasta Brom, precede him in death. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Emily, and his children: Darlene Gates and her husband, Wayne, Kenneth and Curtis Brom, and Glen and his wife Kristine, his five grandchildren: Candace, Megan, Cody, Spencer, and Tyler. He also leaves behind his brother Johnny and his sisters, Eloise, Evelyn, and Joyce. He was a hard working man that retired from the American Can Company and the Katy Independent School District. There will be a void in all the hearts that he touched and he will be very missed by all who knew him. May his celebration begin. Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at Pat H. Foley & Co. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. Interment with military honors will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
