Bio

EMILY J. BROM of Houston, passed away March 12, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital with her children at her bedside. She was born on 10-23-29 in Sweethome, Texas. Emily was preceded in death by her husband Eugene. She is survived by four children, her daughter Darlene Gates and husband Wayne, sons Kenneth, Curtis and Glen and his wife Kristine, as well as five grandchildren. Emily was a very courageous and loving mother and friend to all. The family will be receiving friends at American Heritage Funeral Home at 1071 Veterans Memorial Dr on Monday, March 15th from 5 PM until 8 PM. She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 16th at 9:45 AM at the the funeral home with interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery. We will always love her and she will be greatly missed.
