Leon A. Adamcik, 91, of Grapevine and formerly of DeSoto, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, in Keller. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1111 W. Danieldale Road, Duncanville. Entombment: Holy Redeemer Mausoleum in DeSoto. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Rosary: 7 p.m. Sunday at West/Hurtt Funeral Home in DeSoto. Mr. Adamcik was born Dec. 1, 1918, in LaGrange. He was a veteran of the Marines in World War II and owned an appliance and auto parts store in Dallas. Survivors: Children, Daniel Adamcik of Red Oak, Linda Janda of DeSoto, Jimmy and his wife, Sally, and Alan and his wife, Kim Adamcik, of Southlake; grandchildren, Wendy, Todd, Karrie, Craig, Lisa, Ryan, Stephanie, Jared, Shelly, Kelsey, Keaton and Karson; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha, Florence and Lucy; and brothers, Frank and Ben Adamcik.
